Traditionally our Year 6 pupils go into church to help Mrs Betts to decorate the Advent candles. Unfortunately they were unable to go into church this year so we decided to make our own Advent candle in school instead. The Year 6 children helped to gather lots of greenery from the school grounds and then worked really hard to decorate an Advent wreath. I'm sure you will agree that they have done a fantastic job. The wreath will go to a different class each day so that all the children can see the candles being lit. Many thanks too to Mrs Betts who has sent us a video of the candles being lit in church so that we can share the joyful anticipation of Advent together.
