COVID symptoms, testing and reporting - Easter Holidays
COVID testing - Easter holidays
The Department of Education have announced that asymptomatic testing of primary school staff and families should continue during the Easter holidays. We would therefore request that any families who are taking part in the testing programme continue to do so throughout the holiday period. Primary age pupils are not expected to take part in asymptomatic testing.
For the purpose of contact tracing, parents and carers need to inform us of a positive case if the symptoms develop within 7 days of being in school, up to and including Wednesday 7th April. If symptoms develop from Thursday 8th April onwards you do not need to inform school, we will only need to know if pupils will still be self isolating when we return for the summer term. Staff, parents and careers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
