COVID testing and reporting - half term holiday
The Department of Education have announced that asymptomatic testing of primary school staff and families should continue during the half term holiday. We would therefore request that any families who are taking part in the testing programme continue to do so throughout the holiday period. Primary age pupils are not expected to take part in asymptomatic testing.
For the purpose of contact tracing, parents and carers need to inform us of a positive case if the symptoms develop within 2 days of being in school, up to and including Sunday 30th May. This should be done by emailing the school office: [email protected]
If symptoms develop after this date you do not need to inform school, we will only need to know if pupils will still be self isolating when we return for the second half of the summer term. Staff, parents and careers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
