Early Years Visit Little Owl Farm Park

Class 1 and Pre-School had a fantastic day at Little Owl Farm Park yesterday!  The children behaved beautifully and met so many different furry and feathered friends at the park.  They enjoyed watching a goat being milked and had a go at bottle-feeding some baby goats themselves a little later in the day.  Children were given the opportunity to handle baby chicks, rabbits, piglets and goats, showing how gentle they could be.  They loved the (very bumpy) tractor ride and had fun spotting lots of different animals along the way.  The sheep race was very entertaining and children all chose a different coloured sheep to back during the race – unfortunately my ‘green’ sheep came last!  Despite all of these fantastic animal antics, we still made time for a burn-off in the soft play area as well as enjoying the little pedal tractors before heading back to school.
