Staffing changes from September 2020

Dear Parents,

I hope that you and your families are well and keeping safe during these challenging times. Please remember that we are here to help if you need extra support and you are welcome to email your child’s teacher or me if you have any questions, queries or problems. We will get back to you as soon as we can. All addresses are on the class pages.

I also wanted to let you know about some staff changes which will take place from September 2020:

Class 4 - Mrs Mitchell is going to take over the role of Class 4 teacher from September and will continue her excellent and inspiring work both as class teacher and as our school SENCO. After many years of dedicated hard work at Callow End School Mrs Sharp has decided to reduce her working hours. The Governors and I fully support her in this decision and are grateful that she has agreed to continue working for us two and a half days a week. This will ensure that her wealth of enthusiasm and expertise are not lost and her invaluable support of our staff and pupils will continue.

Class 3 - We are delighted to have appointed a new member of staff, Miss Sarah Brooks, to our team as the new Class 3 teacher. She has already impressed us with her dedicated and enthusiastic attitude and I know she will fit in really well with our teaching team at Callow End. I look forward to introducing her to our pupils and parents as soon as possible.

Class 2 -  Miss Curtis has done a wonderful job since she joined Callow End in 2018 and will stay as the teacher of Class 2 and our English lead.

Class 1/ Pre-school - Mrs Wilford will continue her excellent work as our Class 1 teacher and EYFS leader.

We are lucky to have such a wonderful teaching team and I know that their hard work ensures that all our pupils thrive both academically and personally.

Kind regards,

Sarah Wilkinson
