As part of our history topic, we visited The Tudor House Museum in Worcester today. Through different workshops, we learnt how the Tudors lived and what life was like for them. We got to try on Tudor clothes, weave on a loom, write with quills and ink and find out about how Tudor buildings were made. At the end of the day, we even went into the pillory!

We had a moving Christingle service in church today. Year 6 prepared the Christingles for the whole school then we had a special Open the Book story and learnt about what each part of the Christingle represents. To finish the service, we made a cross down the aisle and sang together.

In DT, we wired our own doodlers. We debugged and tinkered with some broken doodlers, created a design brief and then tested them out on our 'clients' (Year 1/2!).

In English, we wrote instructions about how The Grinch stole Christmas!

What a fantastic time we had on our residential to Govilon! We tried caving, bushcraft, walked up Sugarloaf and visited a castle. Miss Brooks and Mrs Crote were so impressed with how the children challenged themselves and pushed themselves out of their comfort zones.
