Callow End Pre-School is part of our main school and based in a lovely light and spacious room which overlooks the playing fields and Woodland School area.

We accept children from the term in which they are three years old.

Pre-School is open during school term-time (38 weeks per year) Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 3.00pm. We have funded spaces available.

Parents of children attending may be eligible to access free government funding for up to 15 hours per week.

The main emphasis is on having fun through a variety of experiences. Activities offered to the children aim to encourage the development of personal and social skills communication and language as well as providing opportunities to be creative, to develop physically and to learn about the world around them.

As children move through Pre-School more importance is placed on preparing them for transition to mainstream school. For children due to join Callow End there will be opportunities to visit Class 1 to become familiar with the routines and expectations of being in a Reception year group.

If you are interested in applying for a place at our Pre-School or would like some more information, please contact our school office.
